Elwood Staffing expands staffing reach with BelFlex buy
OHIO, UNITED STATES — Recruitment firm Elwood Staffing has expanded its footprint through the acquisition of commercial staffing and flexible workforce solutions provider BelFlex Staffing Network (BelFlex).
The purchase adds 26 branch locations in 19 new markets, primarily throughout the Midwest and Southeast regions, to Elwood Staffing’s business portfolio. Combined, Elwood Staffing and BelFlex now have over 215 offices and more than 70 vendor-on-premises locations in 33 states.
The initiative aligns with the two firms’ goal of providing more offerings, including traditional staffing, skilled trades staffing, and professional/executive search.
“The growth potential for Elwood and BelFlex is extremely exciting,” shares John Elwood, CEO of Elwood Staffing. “BelFlex will gain access to Elwood’s deep bench of support resources, and we will leverage one another’s footprints and expertise to expand client offerings and target new markets.”
BelFlex will continue to operate under its own name and become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elwood Staffing. This marks the 20th lifetime acquisition of Elwood Staffing.
According to its Crunchbase profile, Elwood Staffing acquired two firms in 2023: workforce management and on-site contingent staffing company NAOS Staffing and full-service staffing company Advanced Personnel.
