Acquity BPO expands in Belize, creating 1,000 new jobs

BELMOPAN, BELIZE — Acquity BPO has officially opened its new office on the Hummingbird Highway in Belmopan, Belize.
This expansion is set to create up to 1,250 new employment opportunities for residents of the capital and surrounding areas.
The company, which already employs 250 people in Belmopan and operates three other locations in Belize City, aims to fill a variety of roles across its various campaigns and support services.
Training and development opportunities
Acquity BPO is also committed to employee development, offering weekly training sessions every Tuesday and Thursday to ensure that staff can continuously upgrade their skills.
This focus on training is part of a larger effort to defy the notion that BPO work is a dead-end job with limited growth potential.
Acquity BPO manages a wide range of BPO services, including customer support, finance and accounting, and more. They also offer call center solutions, including lead generation, inbound and outbound appointment setting, and sales support.
Belize: A growing BPO hub
Acquity BPO’s CEO Josh Grant highlighted Belize’s advantages as a BPO destination, citing its proximity to major markets and its young, English-speaking population.
Belize has established itself as a significant player in the global BPO industry, with over 15,000 Belizeans currently employed in the sector.
Moreover, the Belizean government has implemented policies to attract foreign investment, including tax incentives and infrastructure development.
The Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE) has also organized job preparedness training to strengthen the local BPO workforce.
