Avoki boosts Nordic market presence with Avant IT acquisition

STOCKHOLM COUNTY, SWEDEN — Avoki, a provider of sustainable IT solutions in the Nordic region, has announced its acquisition of Avant IT, a Norwegian IT services company. This strategic move is set to strengthen Avoki’s position in the Nordic market and expand its service offerings, particularly in the legal sector.

Avant IT, founded in 2001, has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality IT services to businesses with stringent operational security and efficiency requirements. One of its key offerings is Legal 365 which integrates with Microsoft 365 and caters primarily to law firms and corporate legal departments. 

“Through the acquisition, we further strengthen our position in the Nordic market,” said Peter Uddfors, CEO at Avoki Group. 

“Avant IT is a well-established supplier with high customer satisfaction, especially in the legal industry, where they offer customized IT services. We look forward to providing their unique expertise to our customers in more countries.”

Enhanced service offerings following Avant IT merger

The acquisition will allow Avoki to incorporate Avant IT’s specialized services into its existing portfolio, enhancing its ability to serve a diverse range of clients across the Nordic region. As part of the deal, Avant IT will rebrand under the Avoki name, ensuring a unified market presence.

He expressed confidence in the merger, emphasizing the benefits of scaling up their operations and enhancing their service offerings. “By becoming part of a larger context, we not only get the opportunity to reach a wider customer base, but also to expand and improve our offer for our existing customers,” Eriksen added.

Avoki’s growing presence in Nordic IT

Avoki specializes in providing secure, efficient, and sustainable IT solutions to businesses across the region. The company offers a wide range of IT outsourcing services, including voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, cloud migration services, colocation facilities, cybersecurity solutions, and Desktop as a Service (DaaS).

Founded in 2016, the company has grown significantly, reaching a turnover of SEK 1000 million (approximately $95 million USD) in 2023.

While the specific financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, it is set to bolster Avoki’s position in the Nordic market and expand its service offerings, particularly in the legal sector.
