MD Solutions acquired by F2 Strategy to expand wealthtech services

ILLINOIS, UNITED STATES — Florida-based MD Solutions LLC, a provider of financial technology and operations services for wealth management firms, has been acquired by F2 Strategy, a wealth management technology and marketing services company.
While specific terms of the deal remain confidential, the move expands F2 Strategy’s reach into the registered investment advisor (RIA) and single-family office (SFO) markets.
The acquisition brings MD Solutions’ two decades of investment operations and technology implementation expertise under the F2 umbrella, enabling the Chicago-based firm to deepen its offering of end-to-end technology and managed services for the wealth management sector.
Effective immediately, all MD Solutions employees and client projects will integrate into F2 Strategy.
Boosting tech and operational expertise
Founded in 2004 by Steve Mars and Bill Navarro, MD Solutions has worked closely with RIAs, family offices, and wealthtech providers to implement systems and streamline operations. The firm specializes in outsourced operations, software implementation, and cloud-based compliance tools.

F2 Strategy, which provides consulting and marketing services to wealth management firms, sees the acquisition as key to its strategy of delivering a full suite of technology solutions—from selection and planning to implementation and support.

F2 Strategy’s growth playbook
The deal marks F2’s third acquisition in two years and follows an investment from Renovus Capital Partners. Previous acquisitions include Oakbrook Solutions and SKY Marketing Consultants.
F2 Strategy, founded in 2016, is headquartered in Chicago with additional offices in New York, St. Louis, and San Francisco. The company serves complex RIAs, family offices, and bank/trust firms with technology consulting, marketing, and implementation support.
The combined teams will also roll out a new strategic service partnering with software vendors to deliver implementation and ongoing support—helping clients adopt and optimize wealthtech platforms more seamlessly.
