David Droga steps down, Ndidi Oteh named Accenture Song CEO

David Droga, CEO of Accenture Song

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Accenture announced that David Droga will step down as CEO of Accenture Song at the end of the current fiscal year and transition to the role of vice chair at the outsourcing giant.

Ndidi Oteh, currently head of Accenture Song Americas, will succeed him effective September 1, 2025.

Leadership transition at Accenture Song

Oteh, a 14-year Accenture veteran, will become the first woman to lead Accenture Song. She is known for spearheading digital transformation and consumer strategy efforts for Fortune 500 clients. Oteh will also join Accenture’s Global Management Committee.

Creative leader Nick Law will step in as Song’s new creative strategy & experience lead, also joining the executive committee.

Droga’s legacy at Accenture Song

Droga took the reins of Accenture Song (formerly Accenture Interactive) in 2021. He led the integration of over 40 acquisitions into a unified brand and built Song into the world’s largest tech-powered creative company, driving revenues from $12.5 billion to $19 billion in just four years.

Julie Sweet, Accenture’s chair and CEO, praised Droga’s impact: “His brilliance is matched only by his generosity, integrity, and belief in others.”

Under his leadership, Song won industry accolades including Cannes Lions Grand Prix awards, Red Dot Design honors, and even an Emmy.

Droga’s influence stretches far beyond Accenture. As founder of the acclaimed agency Droga5—acquired by Accenture in 2019—he redefined creative advertising for the digital age. Campaigns for The New York Times, UNICEF, and JPMorgan Chase helped set a new bar for brand storytelling.

With more than 30 “Agency of the Year” titles and the distinction of being the youngest recipient of the Cannes Lions’ Lion of St. Mark, Droga’s legacy is cemented in the industry.

Droga said, “It has been a privilege to be part of so many missions and cultures around the world. With such extraordinary leadership in place, it felt like the right time. I could not be more confident that Ndidi, Sean and Nick will continue building on Song’s legacy of innovation, creativity, and performance.
