Accenture expands Brazil footprint with SOKO purchase

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL — Outsourcing giant Accenture is set to acquire Brazilian creative agency SOKO, expanding its market presence in Brazil.
SOKO to merge with Droga5 São Paulo
SOKO will be integrated into Droga5, a creative agency part of Accenture Song.
Founded in 2015, SOKO has garnered widespread acclaim for its innovative and creative approach, ranking among the top three advertising agencies in Brazil by SCOPEN.
The agency’s exceptional work has been recognized across prestigious international award shows, including The One Show and Clio.
“SOKO delivers work with human insight, relevance and care, and I’m confident that as a part of Droga5 in São Paulo, and paired with Accenture Song’s creative and technology prowess, the SOKO team will further elevate our impact and influence on our clients’ businesses in Brazil and beyond,” said David Droga, CEO at Accenture Song.
Enhancing brand storytelling
The acquisition will enable Accenture to tap into Brazil’s culture and diverse ecosystem and deliver enhanced business offerings for businesses in the region.
“The integration of SOKO into Droga5 Sao Paulo gives Accenture Song the opportunity to enhance the brand storytelling approach for our clients, tapping into Brazil’s creative culture and diverse ecosystem”, said Eco Moliterno, chief creative officer for Latin America at Accenture Song.
The completion of the acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Accenture Song’s growing roster
SOKO’s acquisition is the latest in a series of strategic moves by Accenture Song to bolster its ability to help clients grow, and innovate, in an increasingly competitive market.
The company has acquired several creative agencies globally, including Work & Co, Unlimited, Mindcurv, and Rabbit’s Tale, among others.
