Japan’s transcosmos, India’s Cogent partner to expand contact centers

TOKYO, JAPAN — Japanese business process outsourcing giant transcosmos inc. has announced a partnership with India’s Cogent E-Services Limited to expand contact center services across India and international markets.
The alliance enhances both companies’ capabilities in delivering customer experience (CX) solutions in local Indian languages as well as English and key European languages.
Transcosmos, which operates in 36 countries with 182 offices, recently established a wholly owned Indian subsidiary, transcosmos India Private Limited, in Bengaluru. This move marked the company’s entry into the Indian domestic market.
The partnership with Cogent now gives transcosmos access to vernacular service capabilities in a country with 22 official languages and tens of millions of local-language speakers.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Noida, Cogent E-Services runs 24 centers across 12 Indian cities and employs over 16,000 people. The company specializes in customer experience management through automation, AI/ML-powered solutions, and data analytics, offering services in multiple Indian and global languages.
