Transcosmos collaborates with DMS to enhance e-commerce fulfillment services
TOKYO, JAPAN — Transcosmos Inc. has announced a new business alliance with DMS Inc. to boost its integrated fulfillment services in Japan.
The partnership aims to expand transcosmos’ global e-commerce services, which currently span approximately 40 countries and regions worldwide. DMS Inc., headquartered in Tokyo and led by President Katsuhiko Yamamoto, specializes in logistics and sales promotion services for direct mail and online shopping companies.
This collaboration aims to enhance the post-purchase customer experience, a critical factor for increasing repeat customers and strengthening brand loyalty. Transcosmos will focus on scaling and improving the quality of its customer experience (CX) fulfillment business to meet the increasing demands of the e-commerce market.
Strategic enhancements to logistics and customer relationship management
The alliance will see both companies expanding their logistics capabilities. Key initiatives include reducing delivery lead times by enhancing logistic centers in East and West Japan, employing cutting-edge logistics technology for automation, and optimizing delivery costs through strategic package size management. These efforts are expected to uphold the service quality standards of both companies equally.
Additionally, transcosmos will incorporate DMS’s customer relationship management (CRM) services into its e-commerce one-stop service offerings. These services, centered around the DMS member database and direct mail strategies, will complement Transcosmos’s existing array of services which includes website development, fulfillment, customer care, web marketing, and more.
