Infosys opens AI-focused Zurich hub for Swiss enterprises

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND — Infosys, a global digital services provider, has inaugurated a new strategic office in Zurich, Switzerland, marking its 25th anniversary in the country.

The new headquarters at The Circle, Zurich Airport, is a client co-creation hub that will be based on advanced AI and cloud solutions to enhance the digital transformation of Swiss firms in the main industries.

“The launch of our new Zurich office is a significant step in bringing the full strength of Infosys’ enterprise AI and digital innovation ecosystem closer to our clients in Switzerland,” said Dinesh Rao, Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Delivery Officer at Infosys.

Infosys Zurich hub to boost AI, cloud innovation for Swiss clients

This move puts Infosys teams strategically nearer to a diverse pool of clients in strategic areas of Switzerland, such as manufacturing, financial services, life sciences, energy services, telecom, and retail

This physical proximity is created to foster greater collaboration and enable solutions to be developed with local market needs in mind.

Infosys’s dedicated technological offerings directly support this expansion. The Infosys Topaz is an AI-only suite that the company will access via its base in Zurich and Infosys Cobalt cloud solutions.

These platforms would empower Swiss clients to become more operationally resilient, scale their data to power their operations, develop more delightful user experiences, and take high security and compliance standards more seriously, thereby driving their digitalization agenda.

Nik Gugger, Member of the National Council of Switzerland, notes that the continued investment “underscores the country’s attractiveness as a technology and innovation hub and highlights the important role that global companies can play in strengthening the local ecosystem, creating skilled jobs, and supporting inclusive digital growth.”

Driving STEM education and local talent growth

Infosys’s long-term strategy in Switzerland extends beyond immediate business services to building a deeply integrated local footprint through talent development and acquisitions.

Over 25 years, the company has solidified its international presence through strategic acquisitions and partnerships with companies such as Telenor (Nordic) and Versent (Australia), as well as unit mergers, strengthening its services and capabilities.

Furthermore, it has cultivated a robust talent pipeline through its InStep global internship program, partnering with top Swiss institutions such as Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) Zurich, University of St. Gallen, and IMD Business School, and hosting over 100 students from these institutions in the last two decades.

A sustained commitment to corporate social responsibility and community investment equally defines the company’s local impact.

The most important one is a new grant given to Little Scientists to encourage STEM education. Within the scope of this collaboration, an experience in multilingual virtual learning will be created on the Infosys Springboard platform, where one may take courses in coding (German, French, and Italian).

It aims to enroll 1,000 students in the program within the first year and to make education accessible to disadvantaged students, empowering the next generation of Swiss talent.

Rao notes, “Designed to amplify human potential, these capabilities drive measurable business outcomes, enabling clients to lead with innovation and deliver impactful results in a rapidly evolving marketplace.”

Infosys ranked #11 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2026 edition of the OA500 is expected to be released in March.
