Pasona acquires Enfactory, bolstering its BPO arm

TOKYO, JAPAN — Pasona Group Inc. agreed to acquire All About en Factory, Inc., a specialist professional matching platform serving approximately 30,000 professionals in Japan, for approximately US$4.6 million (¥710 million) in a deal that closed on September 1, 2026.

The transaction strengthens Pasona’s business process outsourcing (BPO) services and professional talent business through subsidiary Pasona JOB HUB.

Enfactory brings 30,000-strong professional matching network

All About en Factory, Inc., known as Enfactory, operates a specialist professional matching business supported by approximately 30,000 professionals, alongside digital transformation (DX) support, e-commerce marketing, and cross-border talent development programs.

IID, Inc. and other Enfactory shareholders agreed to sell the company for approximately US$4.6 million (¥710 million).

Enfactory reported annual revenue of approximately US$7.2 million (¥1.11 billion) for the year ended June 30, 2026, with net income of approximately US$0.47 million (¥73 million).

Pasona Group said the acquisition would expand its professional talent network and strengthen hands-on management support for enterprise clients through its Pasona JOB HUB subsidiary.

Vision 2030 strategy targets higher-value BPO services

Beyond professional matching, Enfactory’s e-commerce marketing and DX support give Pasona Group new digital capabilities to sell locally sourced Japanese products and services through expanded channels.

Pasona JOB HUB, Pasona Group’s professional talent subsidiary, is the primary vehicle for integrating Enfactory’s 30,000-professional network into Pasona’s existing client base.

Pasona’s Vision 2030 strategy targets higher-value BPO services and regional revitalisation in Japan, with the Enfactory acquisition directly supporting both objectives through its matching network and digital commerce capabilities.

Pasona Group said it planned to use Enfactory’s e-commerce capabilities to expand sales channels for locally sourced Japanese products and services as part of its outsourcing service portfolio.

The Enfactory acquisition reflects a broader trend in Japan’s human resources and staffing sector, where matching networks are bundled with BPO delivery, digital transformation support, and regional economic development mandates to create higher-margin managed services platforms.

For international outsourcing buyers considering Japan-based delivery or cross-border talent sourcing, the deal illustrates how staffing-led BPO providers are expanding into integrated managed services and digital commerce operations.

Pasona Group, one of Japan’s largest HR and staffing companies, has positioned its BPO arm as a vehicle for solving corporate management challenges rather than pure headcount placement, a model that Enfactory’s consulting-adjacent matching approach directly reinforces.
