Accenture acquires Context Information Security

Accenture is building out its cybersecurity capabilities with the acquisition of consultancy Context Information Security for an undisclosed amount. Context Information Security is considered one of the UK’s most recognizable and respected information security service providers.
Founded and headquartered in London, Context has offices in Sydney and Melbourne and is headed up locally by Asia-Pacific managing director Kirk Stephen. According to Accenture, Context’s client base spans industries including financial services and government, providing high-end cyber-defence, vulnerability research, and incident response services.
The deal is the latest in a string of cybersecurity acquisitions by Accenture, which acquired Symantec’s cybersecurity services business in January.
