Accenture completes acquisition of Objectivity

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM; WARSAW, POLAND — Outsourcing giant Accenture has completed its acquisition of Objectivity, a digital engineering firm.
The acquisition, initially revealed on May 9, aims to strengthen Accenture’s Cloud First capabilities. The terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.
Objectivity’s proficiency in platform engineering, cloud native computing, and application modernization is expected to improve Accenture’s ability to assist clients in adopting more adaptable platform models and services.
Objectivity’s team will join Accenture, bringing with them resources and additional scale, backed by operations in the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, and Mauritius.
With a global presence in more than 120 countries, Accenture has a workforce of 738,000 highly skilled employees. Its purchase of Objectivity follows a string of recent acquisitions including Norwegian business consulting EINR and AI firm Flutura, among others.
Accenture achieved the top ranking in the Time Doctor OA500, an index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing firms and a vital tool in assisting the BPO decision-making community.
