Accenture cited as star performer for worldwide managed cloud services

Accenture, the Dublin-headquartered multinational professional services company, has been recognized as an industry leader in the IDC MarketScape’s Worldwide Managed Cloud Services 2019 Vendor Assessment, the first such report compiled by the Massachusetts-headquartered technology analyst. Expanding on its endorsement of Accenture, David Tapper, IDC’s vice president of outsourcing and managed cloud services, said the company’s breadth of investment, as well as its strong consulting and migration capabilities, make it a good partner for any business seeking to take advantage of the opportunities available in the cloud.
IDC’s assessment also highlighted its high usage rates of Platform-as-a-Service delivery, investments in centers of excellence, robust financial growth performance, high level of client retention, high service availability, quick response time rates and strong recovery services. The report also recognized Accenture’s rapid growth in the managed cloud services sector as exceeding the market norm.
