Accenture to broaden public tech services with Arηs purchase

UNITED STATES and LUXEMBOURG — Outsourcing firm Accenture is set to acquire technology services provider Arηs (pronounced Aris) Group, boosting its services to the public sector across Europe.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
Founded in 2003, Arηs aids public institutions in their technological transformation. It has worked with the European Union, including the EU Commission, its various institutions, and member state organizations.
The firm specializes in managing complex public sector information technology projects, including systems integration, informatics and analytics, solution implementation, and program management.
Its 2,330 workers in Luxembourg, Belgium, and Greece are well-versed in software development, data science, security management, machine learning, cloud, and mobile development.
“The acquisition of Arηs Group will help scale our capabilities with a highly skilled workforce, a history of successful public service delivery and valued technical certifications that can quickly be mobilized to serve our clients in Europe,” said Jean-Marc Ollagnier, Accenture CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
