Accenture, SandboxAQ support health nonprofit with AI, quantum solutions

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — Outsourcing company Accenture and software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm SandboxAQ have teamed up to aid a nonprofit health organization with artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum solutions.
Both firms are helping the health organization reduce its quantum risk through enhanced security. The goal is to reveal the most at-risk uses of cryptography across its networks, third parties, vendors, and public networks in over 100 countries.
Being shielded from nefarious threats will reduce operating costs and reduce the time and effort to set up health solutions.
Under an agreement, Accenture’s clients gain access to SandboxAQ’s AI and simulation services, which are being used to advance drug discovery. Through this service offering, the drug discovery process is faster, less risky, and cost-efficient.
The cost to bring a new drug to the market is over $1 billion. Trial failures account for over $50 billion in losses annually, as only 10% of these medicines can be used.
In addition, customers can access SandboxAQ’s quantum sensing solutions, which are being tested in medical imaging devices. Combined with AI, quantum sensing solutions offer portable, non-invasive heart, brain, and organ scanning and continuous medical monitoring.
Both firms are also offering solutions to cybersecurity threats with the power of AI. Using SandboxAQ’s Security Suite, clients can run a comprehensive scan of their systems – on-premise or hosted via cloud providers – to identify, eliminate, and ensure they are free of malicious software that could disrupt business operations.
“With the increased use of AI and generative AI, cyberattacks are becoming more targeted and precise,” said Paolo Dal Cin, global lead of Accenture Security. “Our collaboration with SandboxAQ will better equip organizations to defend against a myriad of cybersecurity and quantum risks before a cyber adversary can strike.”
Accenture ranked #1 in the 2023 Time Doctor OA500, the first objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2024 edition of the OA500 will be released next month.
