Aya Healthcare enters UK with ID Medical purchase
CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Healthcare talent software and staffing firm Aya Healthcare has expanded into the United Kingdom with its purchase of workforce solutions provider ID Medical.
Through the acquisition, Aya Healthcare’s latest technology and staffing solutions will be available to clients in the UK. Meanwhile, ID Medical can offer its experience in staff banks to Aya Healthcare’s U.S. operations.
“We are excited to join Aya in our shared mission to transform the healthcare industry worldwide,” said Deenu Patel, CEO of ID Medical. “With Aya’s support, we’ll have access to additional resources, technology and expertise to enhance our services and expand our impact.”
Based in Milton Keynes, UK, with offices in India, ID Medical provides the country’s National Health Service and other healthcare institutions with managed service provider offerings, staff bank management, allied staffing, and international recruitment.
Meanwhile, Aya Healthcare is based in San Diego, California. Its services include travel nurse staffing, allied health staffing, per diem and local staffing, workforce management solutions, vendor management software, and clinician engagement software.
ID Medical is Aya Healthcare’s first acquisition in 2024. Last year, the staffing firm bought data science-driven firm Winnow AI, AI-scheduling platform Polaris Health, and tech firm Flexwise Health.
