AGS Health acquires Availity’s BPO unit
WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES — Healthcare software solutions provider AGS Health has acquired the India-based outsourcing business unit of Availity.
Availity is a healthcare technology firm headquartered in Florida.
AGS Health aims to bolster its position as the leading provider of outsourced prior authorization services.
“With this acquisition, we can better equip our customers with the tools and expert services necessary to help overcome payer complexities, reduce denial rates, mitigate revenue leakage, and accelerate cash flow on the back end,” said AGS CEO Health Patrice Wolfe.
This also allows the company to grow its workforce by adding 200 patient access service team members. The firm has 11,000 employees globally.
