AI boosts efficiency for 65% HR leaders, says Engagedly
MISSOURI, UNITED STATES — Around 65% of human resource (HR) leaders reported improved productivity and efficiency in their departments with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).
According to performance and engagement solutions provider Engagedly, AI use in Human Resource Management (HRM) is growing as it automates repetitive tasks and enhances decision-making processes.
Performance management, employee engagement, recruitment, training and development, and employee inquiries were identified as the top areas significantly impacted by AI.
Despite concerns about data privacy, lack of qualified employees, and cybersecurity risks, a rapid return on investment was noted as a key driver for AI adoption in HRM, with a global adoption rate of 21%.
Interestingly, the study found that while 42% of respondents feared job losses due to automation, 32% expected AI to create more jobs.
Engagedly CEO Sri Chellappa highlighted the importance of the report in understanding AI’s transformative role in the future of HR.
Even though 45% of global HRM leaders are incorporating AI into their processes, there remain potential obstacles to its wider adoption.
Addressing these challenges will be crucial for businesses to fully leverage the benefits of AI and contribute to shaping a productive, efficient, and AI-driven future in HRM.
