Álvaro Badiola Guerra takes helm as Atento’s Group CFO
SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL — Atento, a leading provider of customer relationship management and business process outsourcing (CRM/BPO) services, particularly in Latin America, has announced the induction of Álvaro Badiola Guerra as its Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
As a key member of the Company’s Executive Committee, Badiola is set to bolster the firm’s financial strategy and augment its market footprint.
Boasting an illustrious 30-year tenure, Badiola has held instrumental finance roles with industry giants such as BBVA, Telefónica, CEPSA, and Haya Real Estate, streamlining their transformations and fortifying their competitive positions.
The strategic appointment arrives on the heels of Atento’s recent financial reshuffling, with a commitment secured for its full exit financing this October, bolstering its liquidity reserves. This move paves the way for enhanced future business investments.
Atento was recently delisted from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) after its ordinary shares’ average market capitalization dropped below $15 million over a 30-day trading period.
In September, the company said it has secured $37 million in new interim financing to support its restructuring efforts.
Atento, established in 1999, employs about 120,000 individuals across 17 countries.
The company ranked #28 on the Time Doctor OA500, an index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing firms.
