Ascensos to expand in Trinidad and Tobago

MOTHERWELL, SCOTLAND — Customer service provider Ascensos continues its international expansion by announcing a new base in Trinidad and Tobago.
Launching in June 2023, the new operation in the capital city Port of Spain will initially create 100 jobs with plans to grow to 300 positions in its first three years.
Ascensos CEO and Co-founder John Devlin called Trinidad and Tobago the “perfect location” for their nearshore base, opening new markets while allowing the firm to support its North American clients.
“Trinidad and Tobago’s infrastructure, the friendliness of its people, quality of life, and direct links to the USA and Canada are all very impressive. The time zone also enables us to deliver round-the-clock customer service for our UK and European partners,” Devlin added.
The Ascensos chief executive also stated that their expansion would open a “significant number of high-quality, digital jobs in Trinidad and Tobago.”
“We’re looking forward to building on new business opportunities in this part of the world while continuing to provide the world-class customer service we’re known for to our existing network of clients.”
Scotland-based Acensos recently launched its second Turkish facility in the city of Anatalya, years after opening its Istanbul office. The firm also has an established presence in England, Romania and Cape Town.
