Australia’s 500 biggest companies revealed
The Top 500 Companies list compiled by IBISWorld has been released, revealing that Hancock Prospecting ended the 11-year reign of packaging manufacturer Visy to become Australia’s largest private company.
Other companies included in the top 10 are the following: CBH Group (3rd); Linfox (4th); HCF (5th); Hutchies (6th); Meriton (7th); Teys Australia (8th); Peregrine Corporation (9th); and PwC (10th). Business process outsourcing (BPO) firm Probe Group has also ranked 212th from last year’s 333rd.
Further, QMS Media, ASI Solutions, Probe Group, Joss Group, and New Aim made the list of companies with the top five rises in revenue. Just Cuts, Menzies Group, Forever New, Eric Insurance, and AI Topper made the list of companies with the top five falls in revenue.
