Azets enters Irish market after acquiring Baker Tilly Ireland
DUBLIN, IRELAND — Audit and advisory service provider Azets has entered the Irish market following its acquisition of Baker Tilly Ireland.
With immediate effect, Baker Tilly Ireland is now rebranded as Azets Ireland.
Azets chose Ireland for its thriving small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) community and strong business ties with the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America.
“The SME sector is neglected by the big 6 accountancy firms yet the needs and opportunities of those businesses are as valid as the needs of the multinational enterprise community. With the investment from Azets and the connection to this growing international services company, Azets Ireland is well positioned to advise our clients and to take advantage of the growth opportunities that this presents for our firm,” said Azets Ireland Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Neil Hughes.
Azets’ investment in Ireland is the firm’s tenth deal in 12 months, with further M&A activity planned.
