Sri Lankan LPO expands operations
COLOMBO, SRI LANKA — Tech-based legal process outsourcing (LPO) firm Velox Partners recently opened a new office in Colombo to augment its existing law firm.
According to the company, this expansion “marks a new beginning in our continued growth as we competitively position ourselves [to] enable us to serve more clients and expand our team, locally and globally.”
Velox started its operations last January 2020, before the onset of the pandemic. It offers back-office legal services to law firms across continents.
The female-led firm also helps position Sri Lanka as an LPO Hub, where the LPO sector enables foreign remittance to the island nation to rebuild its economy.
Velox’s statement also expressed gratitude to their founding partners, Lihini Fernando and Dakshika Perera, “for building the firm over the course of the past two years.”
“The firm has new plans in store for the upcoming year and would like to thank all our longstanding clients who have placed their trust in us and our work,” they added.
