Belize trade agency offers free BPO skills training

SANTA ELENA, BELIZE — The Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE), Belize’s trade and promotion agency, organized a call center and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) job preparedness training to strengthen the local BPO workforce.
This free program, scheduled for March 4 to 15, 2024, at the Santa Elena Library, offers an engaging curriculum focused on key communication and customer service skills vital for the BPO industry.
Topics include effective communication strategies, telephone etiquette, and techniques for managing challenging calls, with practical simulations to mirror real-world scenarios.
The goal is to arm participants with the skills to efficiently manage customer inquiries, solve problems, and surpass service expectations. They will also become adept at using call center technologies and software to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
This training is a component of Beltraide’s larger strategy to cultivate a skilled, competitive workforce.
It falls under the umbrella of Beltraide’s Job Preparedness Training, encompassing various sector-specific programs that enhance both interpersonal and technical abilities for the BPO industry.
