Clario taps Cognizant to boost clinical trials
NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES — Healthcare technology company Clario has tapped outsourcing company Cognizant to boost its clinical trial operations through an enhanced digital infrastructure.
Under the five-year deal, Cognizant will help Clario streamline its workflows across divisions, integrate data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities, and boost the innovation process in clinical trials.
“Clinical trials require secure and reliable technology to manage patient data, monitor results, ensure regulations are met, and more,” said Cognizant’s Mohammad Haque, SVP, Global Large Deals Lead and BU Head, Life Sciences.
“Clario is doing groundbreaking work in providing this technology to run clinical trials, and Cognizant is excited to work alongside them to modernize their offerings.”
Clario offers comprehensive evidence-generation solutions that combine eCOA, cardiac safety, medical imaging, precision motion, and respiratory endpoints.
Its team of experts has helped deliver over 26,000 trials and contributed to over 800 regulatory approvals in more than 100 countries.
Cognizant has been aiding firms from various industries in their digital transformation. Last month, the BPO giant extended its existing 10-year partnership with salmon producer Cermaq to enhance the latter’s cloud system.
This also marks the BPO firm’s second partnership with a healthcare firm this year. In January, Contract Research Organization (CRO) firm Fortrea tapped outsourcing giant Cognizant to enhance its healthcare systems with the latest technologies.
Under the four-year agreement, Cognizant will equip Fortrea’s digital platforms to prepare it for the latest hybrid cloud models so it may achieve seamless integration across various contact points.
Cognizant ranked #6 in the OA500 2024, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
