Concentrix, ING Hubs recognized for economic contributions in the Philippines

PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) recently awarded outsourcing firms Concentrix CVG Philippines, Inc. and ING Hubs B.V. Philippines Branch for their outstanding contributions to the country’s economic growth.
Concentrix received the Outstanding Exporter award for its remarkable export performance, while ING Hubs was inducted into the Hall of Fame for its consistent recognition as an Outstanding Employer.
Concentrix CVG Philippines wins Outstanding Exporter Award
Concentrix CVG Philippines, Inc. was recognized by PEZA for its exceptional export performance, generating over US$450 million in exports. As a leader in customer relationship management services, Concentrix has been a registered PEZA locator since 2002.
The company is renowned for its excellence in operating call centers that serve international clients through various communication channels.
President Amit Jagga emphasized the company’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond financial metrics, stating, “One of the things going back to the culture that we have is, you actually do the right thing, just not just for the organization, but for the communities and supporters.”
PEZA Director General Tereso Panga praised Concentrix for its recent accolades, including being named Asia CEO’s 2024 Company of the Year and ranking as the top Inspiring Workplace globally.
Jagga expressed gratitude towards PEZA’s support, emphasizing the importance of the Philippines as a key operational hub: “We are one of those few organizations where the Philippines business is much bigger than the India business.”
ING Hubs B.V. Philippines inducted into Hall of Fame
Meanwhile, ING Hubs B.V. Philippines Branch was inducted into PEZA’s Hall of Fame after receiving the Outstanding Employer award three times consecutively from 2020 to 2022. This accolade highlights ING Hubs’ dedication to employee welfare and development.
Hazel Delos Santos, General Manager of ING Hubs Philippines, emphasized their focus on creating growth opportunities for employees while strengthening local operations.
She expressed appreciation for PEZA’s continuous support: “[What] makes it more special [is] that being a Hall of Famer for PEZA is not necessarily because of the contribution of just ING Hubs Philippines or the industry. It is because you made it also happen.”
Since its registration as an IT enterprise in 2016, ING Hubs has invested nearly PHP2 billion (US$34 million) in the country and employs over 5,400 Filipino workers. The company continues to expand its presence in the Philippines, reinforcing its role as a leading Dutch enterprise in the region.

PEZA Director General Panga reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to supporting ecozone industries and fostering sustainable development in the Philippines. As PEZA approaches its 30th anniversary next year, it plans to honor additional locator companies for their contributions to national economic progress.
