Concentrix maintains top IT-BPM employer status in PH, says Colliers

IT service management company Concentrix is still the top Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) employer in the Philippines, as it recruited an additional 10,000 employees during the third quarter of the year.
According to a report by real estate investment firm Colliers, this latest figure brings Concentrix’s total headcount in the country to 100,000 full-time employees (FTEs).
Colliers added that IT-BPM firms are hiring more employees to sustain their expansion plans in the country, especially in the provinces.
Outsourcing giant TaskUs Philippines also added 2,534 employees to their headcount from July to August, while Telus International finished the quarter with 7,000 new recruits.
At the same time, Colliers stated that IT-BPMs are also diversifying their site portfolios through expansions in the provinces. Concentrix’s provincial office footprint increased by 12% in Q3, Telus International added 23%, while TTEC upped its physical presence in the provinces by 19%.
In terms of specific areas of expansion, Colliers said the top five provinces which took up the largest new office space in Q3 were Cebu with 34,000 square meters (sq.m.), Davao with 21,000 sq.m., Pampanga with 9,000 sq.m., Laguna with 5,000 sq.m., and Dumaguete and Negros Occidental with 4,000 sq.m. each.
