Concentrix + Webhelp opens new Philippine site

CEBU, PHILIPPINES — Business Process Management (BPM) company Concentrix + Webhelp announced its plans to open more jobs in Cebu province as it launched its newest site at the Cebu Exchange Tower.
This is Concentrix + Webhelp’s 52nd Philippine location, consolidating two previous offices into the new space and adding 1,000 more employees, making it the company’s largest site in the country.
The green office tower has amenities like a tech zone, wellness area, quiet spaces, and inclusive zones for entertainment and socializing.
This expansion underscores the company’s commitment to the Philippines and Cebu’s position as a major hub for global business operations.
According to Concentrix + Webhelp Senior VP and Country Leader for the Philippines Amir Jagga Amit Jagga, the company currently occupies five floors, with plans to expand to eight floors soon.
Jagga also hinted at major hiring activities approaching the holidays, with thousands of new hires expected. He added that the company is focusing on reskilling employees for future needs like artificial intelligence (AI), IT, and complex customer interactions.
Despite technology gains, Jagga also believes more staff will be needed to handle increasingly complex tasks.
Meanwhile, Board of Investments-Cebu head Floreza Alpuerto said the expansion of Concentrix + Webhelp is a big boost to Cebu’s growing economy.
“This P900 million-plus project here at Cebu Exchange is expected to pour in around P1.74 billion worth of output to the economy and an estimated P1.23 billion contribution to household income,” he stated.
Concentrix + Webhelp focuses on reskilling employees for future needs like systems integration, data labeling, content moderation, IT support, and customer communication.
The company formed last month by merging Concentrix Corporation and Webhelp Group, two global leaders in customer experience services. The combined entity aims to redefine the industry by leveraging strengths in digital capabilities, global reach, and high-value services.
