CRDF Global to tackle cybersecurity issues in PH workforce

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Non-profit organization CRDF Global is set to launch several initiatives to combat cybersecurity issues in the Philippine workforce.
According to CDRF, several cybersecurity problems must be addressed in the country. This include disinformation; security legislation, policy, and coordination; data governance, information security, and cyber hygiene; and the strengthening of the cybersecurity workforce.
Under the partnership, the CDRF will conduct capacity-building and fellowship exchange in the country. The non-profit also proposes improving information, communication, and technology infrastructure, more digital infrastructure for economic growth initiatives, and regulatory governance.
CRDF Global Chief Operating Officer Tina Dolph said they are committed to building “a world of digitally resilient communities with robust safeguards against cyberattacks and disinformation.”
“We look forward to expanding the depth and impact of our program in this dynamic and fast-paced region with our new Philippine employees,” Dolph added.
