CWJ recognized as ‘pioneer’ in Jamaica’s BPO industry

Leading ICT provider C&W Wireless Business Jamaica (CWJ) was presented with an Industry Pioneer award as a recognition of its contribution to the local Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
Presented by the Global Services Association of Jamaica (GSAJ), the award acknowledges CWJ’s “lasting contributions, leadership, enthusiasm, and tireless efforts” in supporting the growth and success of the sector.
GSAJ President Gloria Henry said that the ICT provider has provided BPOs with high-speed connectivity and has continued to build “resilience in the network” to support the sector over the last 30 years.
Meanwhile, the Business Processing Industry Association of Jamaica (BPIAJ) sees CWJ as an “integral collaborator” in facilitating the transition of the country to outsourcing.
According to CWJ Vice President, and General Manager of Flow Stephen Price, the award is the “fulfillment of a long-standing partnership” between the company and Jamaica’s outsourcing industry.
