Cyera buys Oasis Security in $1Bn AI-security deal

ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM — Cyera has signed a letter of intent to acquire Oasis Security in a deal valued at $1 billion, the company announced.

Oasis Security specializes in managing and securing non-human identities, including accounts controlled by AI agents and machine processes, a threat category that has grown rapidly inside enterprise environments.

The acquisition follows Cyera’s $600 million funding round at a $12 billion valuation earlier in 2026.

Cyera merges data security with identity management platform

Cyera’s platform monitors data access and movement across enterprise environments, while Oasis Security brings non-human identity governance capabilities for the automated accounts and AI agents that operate alongside human workers.

According to a report from Infosecurity Magazine, the number of non-human identities inside Fortune 500 companies has risen by nearly 500% in the past six months, according to industry data, creating a growing gap in identity governance tools for agentic AI deployments.

“Every identity — human, machine, or agent — is a point of exposure, which is why every identity has to be tracked, understood, and controlled. So we’re building a new model: one that unifies data and identity into a single system, so every agent is trusted with exactly the data it should reach,” said Yotam Segev, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Cyera.

Oasis Security brings agentic identity controls to Cyera

Oasis Security’s platform manages the lifecycle of machine accounts and AI agent identities, providing governance, access controls, and anomaly monitoring to prevent unauthorized data access.

The combined platform would give enterprises a single system to track what every identity — whether human or machine — can access and what every AI agent can do with that data, closing a growing blind spot in enterprise security.

“Knowing your data isn’t enough if you can’t govern who or what touches it. Knowing your identities isn’t enough if you don’t know what they can see. Put those two things together and you get one system that decides what every human, machine, and agent can see and do,” Segev added.

The deal ranks as the second-largest cybersecurity transaction of 2026, reflecting investor confidence in AI security platforms capable of addressing the rapid proliferation of non-human identities across enterprise environments.

For the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, AI agent security represents a growing outsourcing category as enterprises deploying autonomous agents require managed platforms that can track, control, and audit machine-driven access at scale.
