Infobip buys SocketLabs to boost enterprise email

VODNJAN, CROATIA — Infobip has acquired SocketLabs, a Pennsylvania-based email infrastructure company, adding deliverability analytics to its omnichannel communications platform.
According to a press release, the deal positions Infobip as what it calls the only provider capable of managing a customer’s entire email operation across multiple vendors.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2006, Infobip reaches more than seven billion mobile devices across six continents through over 10,000 network connections, including 800-plus direct operator links.
SocketLabs solves the multi-provider email problem
SocketLabs has spent two decades building tools that give enterprises visibility across email providers, show what messages actually reach inboxes, and enable low-risk migration away from outgrown vendors.
Those analytics capabilities address a persistent pain point for enterprises managing multi-vendor email stacks. The acquisition gives Infobip a unified delivery stack covering not just message delivery but the intelligence layer that governs email performance at scale.
“SocketLabs is a team of highly skilled professionals based in Pennsylvania who have spent years in solving the problems that keep enterprises locked into vendors they’ve outgrown, giving visibility across email providers, showing what actually reaches inboxes, and enabling safe, low-risk migration,” said Silvio Kutić, CEO of Infobip.
Deal consolidates email and CPaaS under one platform
Infobip already holds a Gartner Magic Quadrant CPaaS Leader position for the fourth consecutive year. Adding SocketLabs brings email — historically fragmented across independent vendors — under the same integrated platform, giving clients a single provider for all outbound communications.
For enterprise buyers, the combination creates a consolidated pathway to managing every customer touchpoint, from SMS and push notifications to transactional and marketing email, within one commercial relationship.
“Joining Infobip is the natural next step in a journey we started nearly 20 years ago. Infobip’s global scale, carrier relationships, and AI-first platform will allow us to accelerate innovation and expand our email capabilities to businesses worldwide,” said Tim Moore, CEO of SocketLabs.
Infobip ranked 16th on Fortune’s Europe’s Most Innovative Companies list for 2026, up from 68th the prior year, reflecting the company’s rapid expansion across communications verticals.
As enterprises consolidate technology vendors to reduce costs, demand for unified platforms spanning email, SMS, voice, and digital channels is accelerating.
For BPO operators managing outbound communications on behalf of enterprise clients, a provider that integrates email analytics with multi-channel delivery reduces vendor overhead and strengthens data continuity across the customer journey.
