BPOs to participate in DOLE’s Labor Day job fair

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Several Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies are set to participate in the national Labor Day job fair on May 1, 2023. 

According to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), more than 59,000 jobs from different industries will be up for grabs in various job fairs nationwide. 

A total of 678 employers from the BPO, manufacturing, financial and insurance, manpower services, and sales and marketing industries will participate in the job fair. 

The top vacancies are for customer service representatives, production workers/operators, financial consultants, service crew, and sales agents or sales clerks.

“This job fair is one of the employment recovery strategies to restart economic activities, restore consumer and business confidence, upgrade and retool the workforce, and facilitate labor market access,” said DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma.

The activities will be held in 16 regional sites, with the National Capital Region (NCR) as the main event site.
