DXC Technology appoints Andrew Wilson to leadership

VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES — DXC Technology, a leading global IT services provider, has appointed Andrew Wilson as Executive Vice President and Global Lead for Modern Workplace.
Wilson will report directly to DXC Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Salvino.
With over 35 years of experience, Wilson joins DXC from Microsoft, where he served as Chief Digital Officer. He has also held senior roles at Accenture and GE Capital IT Solutions.
According to Salvino, he previously worked with Wilson at Accenture and described him as “results-driven” and talented at infusing innovation.” Wilson expressed enthusiasm about driving DXC’s growth under Salvino’s leadership.
“I have watched the progress DXC has made under Mike’s leadership around its financial stability, culture, customer delivery focus and governance, and it is very clear to me the company is now poised to deliver on its potential,” Wilson said.
This executive appointment comes after DXC shifted to an offering-led operating model in April, emphasizing leadership for each of its six global offerings. Salvino said the “highly experienced leadership team” will now lead the company from stability to future growth and expansion.
Wilson joins industry veterans in the leadership team. Howard Boville was appointed Executive Vice President and Global Lead of Applications Services and Artificial Intelligence.
