Enghouse Systems acquires Lifesize for $20.7Mn

CANADA & UNITED STATES — Enghouse Systems, a Canadian enterprise software solutions provider, announced the completion of its acquisition of substantially all assets of Lifesize, a cloud communications company based in the United States (U.S.).
The purchase, approved by U.S. Bankruptcy Court, was finalized for approximately US$20.7 million.
Lifesize’s offerings are designed to support enterprises in efficiently managing hybrid workforces. Its cloud contact center solution, including workforce management features, supports businesses to deliver unified customer interactions across all channels.
In addition, Lifesize provides powerful video solutions that enable remote teams to connect with on-site teams, integrating with popular tools like Teams, Zoom, WebX, and Enghouse Vidyo.
With the integration of Enghouse and Lifesize, businesses will benefit from seamless collaboration and enhanced customer experiences. Lifesize’s technology will become part of Enghouse’s Interactive Management Group.
“Both Lifesize solutions are an excellent fit with our existing businesses. The Lifesize omni-channel contact center solutions expand our broad portfolio of omni-channel solutions for different customer types,” said Enghouse Chairman and CEO Steve Sadler.
Enghouse Systems, publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange, focuses on vertical enterprise software solutions in contact centers, video communications, healthcare, and public safety.
The company’s growth strategy emphasizes internal development and strategic acquisitions and operates without external debt financing. Its revenue as of April 2023 is CAD113.46 million (US$85 million).
