Epiq expands outsourcing pact with law firm
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES — A West Coast-based Am Law 200 firm has expanded its decade-long partnership with business process outsourcing (BPO) firm Epiq.
Epiq, which has been providing mail, copy, and hospitality services for the firm, will now offer document processing, proofreading, and data analysis support under the expanded agreement.
The BPO firm will utilize its network of multidisciplinary experts to help improve the law firm’s day-to-day operations across its 11 U.S. offices.
“We look forward to continuing our relationship to solve tough problems and improve operations with people, processes, and technology – all at a significant cost savings,” said Michelle Deichmeister, President of Epiq’s Global Business Transformation Solutions business.
Epiq provides legal process outsourcing firms for U.S. law companies. The New York-based firm aids law companies by streamlining its administration of business operations, class action, and mass tort, court reporting, eDiscovery, regulatory, compliance, restructuring, and bankruptcy matters.
Epiq is owned by OMERS Private Equity, the private equity arm of the OMERS pension plan, and funds managed by Harvest Partners, LP. Its clients include 90% of the top global law firms.
