ePLDT Launches Managed IT Services Portfolio

Philippine technology provider ePLDT has rolled out its managed IT services aimed at preventing downtime through enhanced enterprise IT infrastructure. The Makati City-based provider is targeting top-end enterprise customers via its three core offerings: managed operations center-as-a-service (MOCaas), professional services, and managed IT platforms. Recent studies said nearly 90% of firms in the country have experienced incidents of system downtime within the last 18 months, with 43% of hardware failures caused by mechanical or internal failure, and 36% due to lack of IT infrastructure maintenance.
Nerisse Ramos, senior vice president and COO at ePLDT, said the findings are what pushed them to develop their own managed IT services portfolio. The firm’s holistic managed IT services focus on mitigating downtime and ensuring business continuity for all organizations in the country, through an all-inclusive ecosystem complemented by the input of its experts, said Ronald de Guzman, ePLDT‘s head of business solutions. Managed services is ePLDT’s latest addition to its current suite of ICT solutions, which include purpose-built data centers, cloud and cybersecurity.
