First-ever British BPO firm to open in Jamaica
British-based Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm Ventrica is set to be the first-ever British firm to expand in Jamaica with the launch of its new operation in Montego Bay.
The newly opened site will help support the company’s clients in the United States, United Kingdom, and European markets, with lower cost but high-quality English language customer service support.
As one of Europe’s leading customer service outsourcing partners, Ventrica aims to generate over 300 new jobs in the Montego Bay area by 2022.
Ventrica CEO & Founder Dino Forte said that they chose Jamaica “because of its strong synergy with British and Western culture, the ease of doing business, its highly educated and English-speaking workforce, competitive costs, and quality infrastructure.”
