Firstsource expands with Melbourne AI hub
MUMBAI, INDIA and VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA — Indian business process management firm Firstsource Solutions Limited has inaugurated its new Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Headquarters along with an artificial intelligence (AI) Innovation Lab in Melbourne, Victoria.
The newly established ANZ Headquarters will serve as a center for domain-led service operations, which includes a delivery center and an AI Lab. These facilities are designed to push the boundaries of responsible AI adoption and spearhead industry innovation.
Fostering innovation and local talent
At the core of the AI Innovation Lab is Firstsource relAI, an advanced suite of AI-driven platforms and solutions aimed at optimizing operations, improving customer interactions, and promoting sustainable growth ethically.
The lab will engage in research across AI, engineering, robotics, and digital experimentation, collaborating with Victorian universities to develop AI expertise and encourage industry partnerships.
“Our investment in Australia and New Zealand is an important milestone toward being present where our clients need us. Strengthening economic ties
This expansion in Melbourne is expected to create over 400 new jobs over the next five years. It aligns with the Victorian Government’s Economic Growth Statement which identifies digital technology as a catalyst for economic enhancement and job creation.
