Foundever partners with nonprofit to boost youth employability

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Customer experience (CX) solutions provider Foundever recently partnered with the non-profit organization Children International Incorporated (CII) to equip disadvantaged Philippine youth with necessary employment skills.
This collaboration aims to provide language proficiency and career readiness training to CII beneficiaries of hiring age, thus preparing them for the rapidly evolving job market.
The partnership, launched on May 11 at CII’s central office in Quezon City, is a part of Foundever’s corporate social responsibility initiative, the Language Academy. This initiative focuses on enhancing employability through language proficiency programs designed to prepare candidates for the BPO industry.
“More than just to give the youth a brighter future, the partnership aims to create a sustainable community by laying the groundwork for the next generation of leaders,” said Foundever Director for Talent Acquisition for Strategic People Programs Rowel Villalobos.
“Our work with CII reflects our academy’s vision of making an impact in the world through employment. By partnering with education, government, and impact-sourcing organizations, we provide access to educational, financial, and social resources around the globe,” he added.
Last February, Foundever demonstrated its commitment to making education accessible by raising 8,400 books via its Big MAX Book Drive.
In collaboration with the Library Renewal Partnership, the drive benefited 100,000 learners in various regions, including the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Naga, and Puerto Princesa.
Foundever’s outsourcing expertise helped the firm land the #16 spot in the Time Doctor OA500, the first objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
