Global review confirms Infosys as leader in intelligent automation services sector
Infosys has been designated as a leader in the intelligent automation (IA) services sector, following a global review of the industry by IDC, a Massachusetts-headquartered market intelligence provider. The annual survey – the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Intelligent Automation Services 2019 Vendor Assessment – took particular note of Bangalore-headquartered Infosys’ marketing and training initiatives, its end-to-end life cycle of IA services portfolio and the sheer scale of its dedicated IA sales / delivery resources. Overall, the review put 15 of the largest, global IA services providers under the microscope and benchmarked them in terms of their achievements in the IA services space.
This saw Infosys stand out for a variety of reasons, not least its facility to combine its expertise in developing discrete IA capabilities, cognitive automation and homegrown IPs to deliver bespoke IA solutions for its client base. The quality of its AI and automation services portfolio, which has the capacity to support clients throughout the whole of their IA deployment lifecycle, was also widely noted. Its Living Labs programme, which aims to minimize business risk via user-focused design thinking, rapid prototyping and cost-effective delivery, was also singled out of particular merit.
