Hirewell acquires The Collective Search in expansion move

CHICAGO, UNITED STATES — Hirewell, a global talent acquisition solutions provider, has acquired San Francisco-based recruiting firm, The Collective Search, enhancing its presence on the West Coast.
The Collective, founded in 2015, specializes in recruiting for venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) backed companies in the Software as a Service (SaaS) sector, having partnerships with companies like Ramp, Samsara, and Everlaw.
This acquisition follows Hirewell’s $21 million investment from global technology and investment corporation Prytek in 2021. Hirewell offers various services, including search, recruitment consulting, OnDemand recruiters, and hiring accelerator events. With Prytek’s backing, Hirewell is integrating technology into its recruitment services.
Hirewell’s previous additions include Sourcewell, Rainmakers, and TritonExec. The inclusion of The Collective Search is the latest in their expansion strategy.
Matt Massucci, Hirewell’s CEO, commented on the acquisition, “The Collective’s expertise in matching tech firms with top sales talent complements our mission.”
Tom Wilkinson, Founder of The Collective Search, added, “Partnering with Hirewell allows us to expand our services, leveraging their technology and expertise.”
The merger aligns with Hirewell’s growth strategy and supports Prytek’s vision of creating integrated value chains.
