Harsh Bansal, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Americana, noted that the AI agents cut manual dependencies, allowing faster, more intelligent invoice handling.
“With AI-powered Infosys Accounts Payable on Cloud, we have made invoice processing faster, enhanced accuracy and improved efficiency,” Bansal said.

AI adoption in AP signals shift toward autonomous finance
The move toward AI-powered AP solutions reflects a growing demand for automation in financial operations. Fintech recently expanded its automated invoice processing to cover all B2B transactions, promising cost savings and compliance benefits.
Similarly, Venn reported a 70% reduction in vendor payment times during early testing, underscoring AI’s transformative potential.
Infosys’ solution embeds multi-agent AI frameworks that autonomously manage approvals and data entry to help clients efficiently. Anantha Radhakrishnan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Infosys BPM, emphasized its adaptability, positioning it as a scalable tool for global enterprises.
“By integrating Infosys Topaz with a purpose-built multi-agent framework, along with Microsoft’s AI stack, we’ve developed a solution that is autonomous by design, responsive to change, and built to evolve,” said Radharkrishnan.
As businesses increasingly prioritize AI-driven finance tools, solutions like Infosys’ cloud-based AP system are set to redefine back-office efficiency.
Infosys BPM recently ranked #58 in the OA500 2025, an objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies.
