Infosys, TCS recognized as ‘Global Top Employers’ for 2022
India-based IT services giants Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) were included at the Global Top Employers 2022 list created by the Top Employers Institute.
The report included only 11 organizations that have been selected in at least 20 countries as HR leaders in their outstanding strategies and people practices.
The Institute said that these Top Employers were the ones who “positively [impacted] the lives of over 8 million employees globally.”
The Top Employers Institute Certification Programme looks at the human resources approaches and people practices of participating companies which are independently audited through a survey.
Joining the tech giants on the list are Boehringer Ingelheim , British American Tobacco , DHL Express and its separate freight forwarding services, JTI , PepsiCo, Philip Morris International, Saint-Gobain , and Takeda.
Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink said that they are happy to see that companies have “continued to prioritize maintaining excellent people practices in the workplace” despite the challenging year ahead.
Infosys and TCS are the only IT firms that were included in the top 11.
