Intel and DigitalBridge launch GenAI firm

CALIFORNIA and FLORIDA, UNITED STATES — Tech firm Intel Corporation (Intel) and digital infrastructure investment firm DigitalBridge Group (Digital Bridge) have launched Articul8 AI, Inc. (Articul8), a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) company.
As an independent company, Articul8 offers full-stack, vertically-optimized, and secure GenAI software.
Immediately ready for use, Articul8’s platform keeps customer data, training, and inference within the enterprise security perimeter. It also allows clients to choose their cloud preferences, whether on-premises or a hybrid system.
Arun Subramaniyan has been named the Chief Executive Officer of Articul8. He was formerly vice president and general manager of Intel’s Data Center and AI Group.

Articul8 was developed at Intel and integrated into hardware architectures, including Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel Gaudi accelerators.
It was initially deployed at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where it processed text and images through open-source and internally built technology. Intel customized the platform to integrate it within BCG’s data centers.
Articul8 eventually scaled its platform to expand its offerings to financial services, aerospace, semiconductors, and telecommunications industries.
“Every global enterprise today is challenged to integrate GenAI capabilities into their workflows. Articul8 has built a scalable and easy-to-deploy GenAI software platform that is already enabling enterprises to unlock value from their proprietary data,” said Marc Ganzi, DigitalBridge Chief Executive Officer.
DigitalBridge Ventures, the venture capital arm of DigitalBridge, led the investments at Articul8. Other stakeholders included Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures and Zain Group.
