Job&Talent secures $103Mn funding to accelerate AI-powered recruitment

MADRID, SPAIN — Job&Talent, a Madrid-based digital staffing platform, has raised €92 million (US$103 million) in a down-round Series F that values the company at €1.3 billion (US$1.5 billion)—a decline from its $2.35 billion valuation in 2021. The funds will be used to expand globally and invest in artificial intelligence capabilities.
The funding round includes support from investors like Atomico, BlackRock, DN Capital, and Kinnevik.
“This round reflects a valuation adjustment in line with broader market dynamics, particularly within the tech and growth-stage sectors,” a spokesperson told TechCrunch.
“The funding ensures that Job&Talent remains well-capitalized to execute the next phase of our growth journey.”
AI agents take the lead
The firm is using part of the new capital to roll out AI agents designed to automate key hiring functions. Its first tool, Clara, has already conducted 180,000 interviews, resulting in around 7,000 hires. Job&Talent says the tool matches the output of thousands of human recruiters.
“Thanks to the platform we have built over the past years, we are now well-positioned to evolve into a fully integrated employment platform that helps companies manage their temporary and internal workforces more efficiently,” said Juan Urdiales, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Job&Talent.
“Our next-generation AI agents will bring major improvements in productivity, provide better opportunities for workers, and unlock crucial cost savings for companies.”
More AI agents—ranging from account managers to attendance coaches—are set to follow, with plans to extend their use to permanent hires later this year.
Global ambitions continue
Job&Talent operates in 10 countries across Europe, the United States, and Latin America. The company matches businesses with hourly and temporary workers in sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, and retail. It has placed over 300,000 workers at more than 3,250 companies.
With over 2,000 employees and strong growth in markets like the U.S.—where Q4 2024 revenue rose 27%—Job&Talent is pushing ahead. It ranks No. 36 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ global list and is the 18th-largest industrial staffing provider in the U.S.
