Kelly Services launches first automated solutions product

MICHIGAN, UNITED STATES — Staffing firm Kelly Services has launched Digital Workers, the first product in its Kelly Fusion suite of solutions that automate routine tasks.
By deploying digital workers in addition to humans, the company claims it has become the first staffing provider to address industry challenges such as fierce talent competition and unmanageable workloads due to economic volatility.
The in-house automation team at Kelly, in collaboration with the industry-leading enterprise automation software company UiPath, builds each digital worker to satisfy the specific workforce requirements of clients.
“We are combining our 75 years of staffing experience with digital tools that can have limitless impact on our clients’ ability to innovate and grow. For workers, these tools free up time for creativity and upskilling,” said Kelly Vice President of Innovation and Product Development Ed Pederson.
The company reports Kelly Fusion Digital Workers have been delivering significant time and cost savings. It added that approximately 162 unique automations had saved over 650,000 hours and US$13.5 million internally across Kelly.
“We’re excited to now bring these innovations to our clients in the U.S. and Canada. Paired with the more than 300,000 job seekers we place every year, Kelly Fusion enables workforce agility and empowers human achievement,” Pederson added.
