Lumify, IBPAP partner to upskill Filipino IT-BPM workers
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Lumify Work PH, a joint venture between the Aboitiz Group and Australia’s Edventure Co., has partnered with the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) to provide training and certification to Filipino IT and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) professionals.
The partnership aims to help pivot the Philippine IT-BPM industry to high-value services, boost global competitiveness, and create a sustainable professional development ecosystem.
Lumify will offer courses and workshops using internationally recognized learning tools to upskill employees in IT service management, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, project management, and more.
Certifications will be provided in collaboration with vendors like Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco, ISC2, and ISACA.
Lumify Country General Manager Gilbert Cadiang said upskilling is key for employees to stay relevant amid rapid tech shifts. The firm will also serve as IBPAP’s talent development partner to elevate the industry
IBPAP members will get special access to Lumify’s learning assets, workshops, facilities and instructors at discounted rates. Joint initiatives like training needs analysis with clients will also be done.
The Aboitiz Group said the tie-up will enable it to provide more accessible, high-quality IT training to professionals, advancing its digital transformation and tech goals.
