Majority of Irish employers want to maintain a hybrid model in the future

The majority of employers in Ireland are pushing for a hybrid work arrangement in the future, according to a survey by the Compliance Institute.
The survey, which was conducted across 280 Irish organizations, found that almost 7 in 10 companies want their employees to split their work time between in the office and at home.
About 67% of respondents said that they want their employees to work on-site at least once a week, while 53% said that workers should be in the office two or three days per week.
Compliance Institute CEO Michael Kavanagh said that the findings have shown “another roadblock in terms of workers returning to the office.”
He added that a trial period may happen for many organizations next year “as they figure out the best way to accommodate their staff’s changed situations, needs, and preferences.”
The latest survey also found that most companies are open to adopting some form of remote work arrangement. Only four per cent of organizations in Ireland reported that they would no longer provide this option to their employees.
