Moneypenny expands U.S. footprint with Sunshine acquisition
UNITED KINGDOM — Outsourcing firm Moneypenny has strengthened its position in the American market by acquiring Sunshine Communication Services.
Moneypenny boosts bilingual offerings
The deal sees Moneypenny acquire the Florida-based company, which specializes in bilingual (English and Spanish) call management solutions for businesses of all sizes.
The acquisition will take Moneypenny’s U.S. operations to almost a third of the group’s total turnover, reflecting the company’s ambitious growth plans in the region.
Founded in 1975 by the Gross family, Sunshine Communication Services has built a reputation for delivering customized services across various industries.
“This is our fourth acquisition in the US following Alphapage in 2022. Sunshine Communication Services is a successful brand and its acquisition will further complement the services we can offer to our clients in the US,” said Joanna Swash, Money Penny CEO.
Andrew and Peter Gross, brothers from Sunshine Communication Services, echoed the sentiment, saying, “We are excited about the opportunities this next phase presents for our business, and more importantly, for our team and customers.”
They highlighted the strong cultural fit between the two companies, with a shared focus on exceptional customer service and employee well-being.
Moneypenny’s pact with Street.co.uk
Moneypenny wrapped up 2023 with a partnership with customer relationship management (CRM) provider Street.co.uk to simplify the lead sales process for estate agents across the United Kingdom (UK).
Through this partnership, viewing and valuation leads can be cataloged in one place right from the get-go.
This replaces the old process where estate agents need to double-key information. Under the new platform, there will be expected enhancements in data accuracy, follow-up efficiency, and lead reporting.
This integration is expected to enhance agent’s workloads and also improve the client journey. Moneypenny currently supports over 2,500 estate agents, commercial agents, housebuilders and housing associations across the UK.
